New EVX Electric Valves Enable Design of Groundbreaking Liquid Handling Systems
Banjo announced today the launch of the EVX line of electric valves for agricultural and industrial liquid handling systems. EVX is up to 40% smaller than current available models, offers critical diagnostic capability and advanced communication protocols, and passes 52 separate durability torture tests to ensure reliability in strenuous applications.
“EVX expands the design possibilities for OEM engineers,” stated John Hays, Banjo Global Marketing Manager. “Banjo engineered the EVX to be smaller, smarter, and tougher than current electric valves. In particular, its much smaller size enables it to fit in space-constrained systems.”
Banjo uses the latest welding technology to considerably reduce product footprint, while also eliminating a traditional leak point associated with bolted valves. EVX communicates via direct control, white wire control, 2 and 4 wire control and advanced protocols such as CAN / ISO BUS and Bluetooth® wireless technology1. An LED indicates “power on” and “fuse blown” conditions as well as open / close verification on certain models. Additionally, certain models report temperature and voltage conditions and include a cycle counter.
EVX is available in 1", 1½", 2" and 3" manifold and threaded port sizes as well as side-load and bottom-load versions utilizing existing bolted valve designs.
